This Privacy Policy describes what data the Bloom mobile application (“the app”, “Bloom”) collects and how it is processed. By using the app, you agree to the terms described below.
1. Data we collect
Depending on how you use the app, we may process the following categories of data:
- Account data — your email address if you register, or an anonymized device identifier if you sign in anonymously.
- Pregnancy data — the due date you enter, diary entries, wellbeing metrics, weight, belly photos and other data you add manually.
- Technical data — anonymized information about app usage, crashes and performance (analytics).
- Advertising identifiers — used to show ads to users without a Premium subscription.
- Purchase data — subscription status received from the App Store or Google Play (we never receive your card details).
2. How we use data
- To provide the app’s core features: the pregnancy calendar, diary and tools.
- To sync your data across your devices and, with your consent, with your partner.
- To improve the app’s quality and stability based on anonymized analytics.
- To show relevant ads to users without a Premium subscription.
- To process purchases and subscriptions through the App Store and Google Play.
3. Sharing data with third parties
We do not sell your personal data. To operate the app, we rely on the following categories of service providers:
- Cloud infrastructure and database (Supabase) — for syncing and storing data.
- Analytics services (e.g. AppMetrica) — for anonymized usage statistics.
- Advertising network (Yandex Ads) — to show ads to non-subscribed users.
- App Store and Google Play — to process Premium subscription purchases.
4. Data storage and security
The app’s local database is encrypted on your device. Data sent to our servers is transmitted over a secure (HTTPS) connection. Access to server infrastructure is restricted, and critical data changes (such as account deletion) are recorded in an audit log.
5. Your rights
- Use the app without registering (offline mode, anonymous sign-in).
- Access and correct your data directly within the app.
- Withdraw consent for marketing notifications in the settings.
- Delete your account and all related data at any time from the “Profile” section — deletion is irreversible.
6. Special categories of data
Pregnancy and health-related data are treated as sensitive and processed with extra care: minimal necessary scope, encryption and restricted access. The app is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age.
7. Cookies on this website
This landing page does not use cookies, analytics, or other trackers. To render fonts, the page loads files from Google Fonts servers, which receive the visitor's IP address in the process. All other provisions above refer to the Bloom mobile application.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes inside the app. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this document.
